The Idea

Training alone is tough. That’s why we’re launching MeetFighters Online Training, guided fitness sessions for the whole community.

The first session is free, starting next week.
Our trainer focuses on mobility, injury prevention, and building fitness for both beginners and advanced members.

The Trainer

The online training will be led by Daniel.

Daniel is 24 years old, has been studying sports for over 5 years, and has been providing personal training (online and in person) for 4 years.

Education & Certifications

  • BSc in Sport and Recreation Organisation, specialised in Health Promotion
  • Certified Sports Rehabilitation Trainer
  • Certified in Movement Stereotype & Movement Analysis
  • Certified in Kinesiotaping
  • Certified in Spine & Fitness

What our group training aims for

  • Improve body composition
  • Lose body fat
  • Gain strength and muscle mass
  • Increase flexibility
  • Build a solid general fitness level

The First Test Training

If you, our community, are in favor of this concept, we plan to have one large training session per week, and additional small-group trainings (around 3–7 people) spread across the week. Smaller groups make it possible for Daniel to correct your exercises and provide more personalized feedback.

This is very fluid, and we will develop it together with the community.

What do you need for our first fitness training?
  • A computer or smartphone that can run Zoom calls
  • Ideally some dumbbells and a soft surface like a mat
  • 1 hour of your time to join the training
  • Water to stay hydrated
  • Sports clothing, shoes, and a towel
  • A camera is optional; it is up to you if you want to share your video

Hi guys, thanks for your interest! Looking forward to meeting you all soon.

For now, we plan to hold two test training sessions next week:

  • Session 1:
    • Europe (CEST): Monday, 25th at 19:30
    • US Eastern (EDT): Monday, 25th at 1:30 pm
    • US Pacific (PDT): Monday, 25th at 10:30 am
  • Session 2:
    • Europe (CEST): Tuesday, 26th at 08:00
    • US Eastern (EDT): Tuesday, 26th at 2:00 am
    • US Pacific (PDT): Monday, 25th at 11:00 pm

Each session will be one hour.

We’ll create MeetFighters events in the next days to confirm once everything is set in stone.

I'm interested and I think it's a great idea! However, the test training session in U.S. Eastern is at 1:30 p.m. while I'm at work. Are you going to have evening sessions?

I am too poor to join a gym or collect a set of iron weights. But I live near a beach with tons of rocks, so I go down there and lift rocks, which if done carefully, can substitute for dumbells. Rocks plus bodyweight exercises work well for me, and seem to be giving me improvement as I continue workouts 3 to 5 x per week.

This is not about online trainning, but a different suggestion. I've missed for a long time in meetfighters an option for groupal private convesations, between 3/4 users, not like a forum, just like typical skype group conversation, what could make easy to arrange groupal fights or whatever. Could this be possible now with the Meetfighters app working so fine?

I would like to get into shape for meeting and wrestling a few guys on here I connect with on a regular basis. Most of those guys are in prolific weightlifters and workout regularly, and I just want to be in good enough shape to wrestle them. Yes, I have a specific list of ten or less. I would tell you my #1 if it didn't get both of us myself & #1 in any trouble.

Hey Trainer,

I'm intersted for a 2 times/week training session. I've dumbells at home and want to perform my endurance or just maintain my body health. If you do this on a regular basis I could join and keep the schedule if hours/day are ok, for example tuesday/thursday 6pm (French time) for a 1hour session.
Currently i do something equivalent with a basic program I've found on the Internet, one or two times a week.
