Hey guys
Got an odd question. I want to start going to a boxing gym and doing training again. But I have a problem. Simple story I have full dentures. And I am wanting to know if I can spar with a mouth guard and if they make them for people who do not have teeth? I take mine out when I am getting boxed one sided, but i know if I spar at a gym, that may not be possible. Any suggestions? Oh and I had my teeth removed when I was younger due to bad genes, it was that or 45k worth of dental work. This was easier and much less painful. Thank you guys for not judging. Gloves up!

Oh hehe yeah I was just curious if there was anothrr fighter on here who wore dentures, and uses a special mouth guard and where I can get one. I asked my oral surgeon and his office had no idea. I got them replaced years ago. I appreciate the suggestion though, I will call a few local offices here next week.

While I can't say "none" exist, I can say I've never heard of this particular issue before. I highly doubt it's a common enough problem where gear companies are making specialized gear to accommodate it. Maybe there is someone on the planet who could make something custom, but is would probably take a ton of work, be very expensive and more experimental than something that could guarantee safety.

Yes I think so too. I thought 3d printing. But nah. I can just ask during a match no hard uppercut to the jaw. Its what I have done in the past. I will also just tell the gym i can not spar against anyone. I just want to train.
