Thank you for reminding us why this site exists. We are here to talk about wrestling, boxing, and fighting. We are here to hopefully meet quality opponents for a good time of workout, muscle worship, etc. There are plenty of sites out there for people to voice their personal problems. Let's keep this site focused on sport.

I'm not even sure that the post is making a serious point, seems a bit 'tongue in cheek'.
Having taken it so, I offer this response to your comment.

Simply saying there are other 'sites' where you can seek solace is like the 'love it or leave' exhortaion we know all too well.
We expect people to reach out if they need emotional help. Yet, finding personal connections, let alone friendships, for many people is not so simple. Personal connections are made where there is a sharing of personal interests.
Many in MF, perhaps including the site owner (though for pecuniary reasons), would like to consider it a community. Sometimes, MF is the only personal connection option.

All of that said, not everyone on MF (or even most), nor in society in general, are intellectually and/or emotionally capable of being a sounding board for the griefs of others, let alone able to provide solace or viable solutions. There have many occasions where I wished I'd been in better emotional health so that I could provide someone a needed shoulder. That is my personality, and I know (believe me I know) that it is not common.

We couple up not only driven by the hormones raging in our youth, but due to the 'partner' support which is so important in dealing with a 'thorn bush' of a world, largely aligned against you.

You don't have to offer any solace to anyone, but at least don't shame those who seek it.
