I have had a few in the last few days contact me in FB messenger and even a picture when asked. Actually him? Unknown. He either tells me about a govt site for gree $$ that was Fedexed to him in cash. Or something similar or simply requesting for food or whatever. I have had to unfriend, then block a few, and report them to FB as scammers or fraudsters.
I appreciate the caution. I don't usually wrestle or even chat with younger guys but a fellow wrote me several times and we talked over some of his issues, hope I was a bit helpful to him...but then he left the site. I will not share photos with younger guys or intimate details in any case. Deano
CAUTION: Four times on another site I have had long conversations with younger guys professing how much they liked older guys, many messages and promises and teasing, always ending up with their suddenly being in financial trouble and needing me to give them money. Four times. Once it's clear that you're not going to give them any money (or to your regret, any MORE money) the silence is complete. They are trading on their good looks in exchange for your need for human contact and your bank account. They can seem unquestionably sincere until they see the bank vault closing on them. In the gay world, so often hook-ups are based solely on physical looks, and the young have the advantage in that currency, just as we once did. Keep your cock in your pants and your dollars in your wallet, because in this kind of exchange only one of those will be emptied.
I had a similar experience. A young guy in his twenties contacted me. He said he was in the army and among the last few troops still in Syria. He sent me a few photos of a strikingly handsome guy in army fatigues (most likely not him). He told me he was nearing the end of his time in the army and was going to relocate to the Boston area. He was hoping to get to know some buddies before he got here. I, of course, brought up the age difference and he replied with the standard "age is just a number". I replied yes, it is but in this case it's a big number. I was on to him from the start, but I kind of enjoyed stringing him along. Then came the info that he was helping at a charity in Syria assisting earthquake victims and it could really use additional funds. Time to say so long.
