Nerveholds, claws and pressurepoints

I hate to say it but the pec claw and arm pit claw look identical. One might say that with the underarm the thumb goes inside the arm pit, while the palms grasp the upper back.

But with the pec claw, the palms cup the chest with thumbs pressing into the pecs. But that's not 100 consistent here either.

Then there's the reverse under arm claw.

I like the pain threshold test of locked holds on me. Pec claw lift is the best challenge

So do I. Sadly my height puts me outside the bell curve so I always end up doing all the work.

Not enough claws and nerve holds, pressure points used in wrestling these days. We really need to bring these back.

Not just the power and strength of the opponent that applies the hold, but the intensity of his rival to resist and indure it.

could not agree more, Juggernaut! unfortunately, the simple elegance of the claw/nerve holds don't pack the same "pizzazz" as the highflying acrobatics of today's wrestling promotions. but the struggle between the power of the applier and the strength of the endurer is what true wrestling is about. thank you for your comment.
