Never really believed it but loved the concept and how it was administered. I go back to the Stan Stasiak days and as a youngster: I was in awe how one man could subdue another in the Ring to the point of manipulating his body posing him, and then manipulate and hold his arm behind his head so that he has helpless to receive a fatal punch to the chest. I always knew it was not real, but that way of dominating somebody half naked was so hot (something I figured out as I got older)
I always liked the vintage Asian heels and their martial arts tactics when they targeted their opponents’ vital points (e.g. the solar plexus, throat, or jaw) with their chops or palm strikes. This got me thinking about the old Heart Punch - - the finishing move for heels Ox Baker and Stan “the Man” Stasiak. In more recent underground wrestling shows, the Heart Punch was used by the heels throughout the matches to methodically weaken and eventually beat their muscle jock opponents. What are your thoughts on the Heart Punch?
