Regarding missing pictures in interest groups:
We are aware that the pictures have been missing since yesterday (2025-09-19).
This has nothing to do with the UK age verification, which is only enabled for UK visitors. Because of that, we don’t need to delete any content.
It was caused by an unfortunate bug introduced with an unrelated update. (The user account owning these pictures was accidentally deleted by an updated maintenance script.)
The issue likely started about 7 days ago, but we were only informed yesterday.
I’m also not sure why you’re saying “there appeared to be no way to ask the site admin about it.” Did you try reaching out to us directly or opening a support ticket? 🙂(You make it sound like, we don't are, while infact, you did not ask.)
We are surprised that only one member has reached out to us directly so far, and only after 7 days, and now I just saw this thread. Normally, any kind of bug, especially one of this size, instantly creates dozens of tickets and gets our attention right away. Which makes us think… maybe not many people used it, or cared about it?
Back to the issue: we are still investigating, but most likely the pictures are either lost or can only be restored from a very old backup.
A few days ago I looked at the Interest Groups and noticed that ALL of the photos previously in the galleries of ALL the groups i looked at (and i checked a good many) had 'gone'. I commented on it in the General Chat Room', in case it was just a peculiarity of my device's older operating system. A couple of responses suggested that was probably not so. But to be honest nobody seemed much interested (which surprised me, as members had uploaded thousands of photos, presumably because they wanted to), and there appeared no way to ask the Site Admin about it. My only thought is that they must have been removed at around the time the new Age Verification Compliance stuff appeared at site login. Maybe there is a connection (or maybe not). I would have thought the Site Admin must know they've all gone. I would have expected some statement from them about it (perhaps there was and I just didn't catch it). I don't know if this helps at all.
Don't forgot youtube-like bots, where stuff disappears and you get a warning yet have no idea what it was for, or about, or when it happened, or what you did wrong. Just a generalized statement saying it (whatever it was) violates the site's policy. Sometimes you never know.
Any number of scenarios are possible. Maybe a peer reviewer accidentally hit the "no" radio button instead of "yes." Maybe somebody subjectively thought a given pic was "too revealing," however one might interpret that to mean - subjective standard, of course. Maybe somebody just was in an odd mood. Regardless, how about submitting another photo or three - perhaps one more "G rated," so as to avoid doubt? I wish you good luck, Brett.
Hi guys, I posted a photo of my abs in this section, but came back later to look at it and it was gone. Do you think it's awaiting peer review or was simply deleted? If so, aren't members given an explanation of why a photo gets deleted? Mine wasn't x-rated or anything, just my torso. I tried to find a Support page that might address this, but found nothing. I also can't find a link to contact the moderators to inquire. Any ideas? Thanks.

The pictures have been restored.
If there are still pictures missing, these have to be uploaded again.

Thanks for the replies, guys. I think I just uploaded incorrectly. I posted another photo instead and it seemed to work.
Thanks again!

No sense trying to re-post without knowing why they were deleted in the first place.
