I am missing my left foot. I lost it due to complications of my diabetes. I still love wrestling, so hard to find a heel willing. I do make a great jobber.
I don't have any known *physical* disabilities but it would be nice if others got to keep a group that supports them. I have rolled with a couple guys with disabilities in the past as well. good luck, guys~
Good move, Greyhound ! Thanks for doing that ! I'm of like mind. I have kept several friends who were hard of hearing or deaf, and as I age, I know I will lose some of my hearing, as we all do as we get older. I have many friends who have had or have liffelong disabilities. One dear friend loved to wrestle and was blind and we had some wonderful times together. Those of us without a major disability may NOT be the same tomorrow or next year.
I'm not disabled, but...sometime this summer or fall, I will have surgery to repair an abdominal aortic aneurysm. I cannot wrestle in the meantime. Seven years ago, I had a triple cardiac bypass. I recovered completely. I anticipate another complete recovery this time, but it's possible I may be further restricted in how much effort I can put into matches. I am not deaf, but I wear a pair of hearing aids 24/7. Wrestling presents the problem of whether I can keep my over-the-ear aids on or whether I have to take them off. That's a nuisance. I also wear glasses, which, of course, have to come off.
