Yeah, your a man to go to for a sleeper. I looked up arching the head back when you do the sleeper on wikipedia. They said there are three reasons: it gives a tighter grip, it exposes the carotid arteries to view, and it prevents the other guy from defending by putting his chin down. Does that sound right? Can you see the carotids when you arch the head back?

How many guys do you think have a sleeperhold fetish of some kind? I've found a number who will do it with me at gyms where I belonged, but only one other who actually had a compulsive need. He was another guy I met in the weight room. He was wearing a WWE shirt, and I asked him if he was into sleeperholds too, and he was. Next, thing I knew I was walking around there one day and went into a room with exercise equipment of some kind, and he jumped me. I used to belong to the UOregon Rec Center which is not far from where I live. I had two sparing partners. I visited one of them at home during the summer. We were talking and all-of-a-sudden he jumped up on me and put on a sleeper but I got it off before I went under. He also tried to wrestle me with special gloves that stick and enhanced his grip, and almost got me. Another guy jumped me twice from behind when I was working out on a machine with an arm around my neck and pulling it tight with his other arm (actually a choke, not a sleeper). The second time I was so mad I took him down and put him out with an Ezekiel sleeper. A 300-lb. guy took me down during one of my wrestling classes at UO, came down on top of me, put a headlock on, and sat on me. I had trouble breathing and couldn't move his weight. It took some time, but the headlock and problems breathing eventually took me out.

The dictionary defines fetish as an excessive or obsessive devotion to a particular thing. It becomes a psychiatric disorder when it causes distress or harm to others (not just psychological harm like humiliation). It can be wholly or partially sexualized or not. Oh, when I'm locked in, it's thigh superiority all the way. You're not getting out unless something catastrophic happens to me. I can put them out quite easily. It depends on my mood, really. Oh, I'll never lock in a hold and release it immediately. There is absolutely no thrill of the hunt in that at all. I refuse to let go, even if he taps early. He wanted to fight me; he's going to get a fight. I'm not letting him walk away that easy.

He tried to block me, and I locked his arm up and pulled him up really aggressively and slammed him back on the mats. His blood was on my body and ribs. His arms started flailing a bit as he was punching wildly and softly. Man, that was cool! I'd rate it a "10" on a scale of "10." You must have had an adrenalin rush when this guy came at you so strong. I'd say my one of my best matches was with a bodybuilder I met at a gym. He was a defined, medium built, but was the strongest guy in the weight room and could do the whole stack on most every machine. He was in a Judo class I was taking too. We use kicks, strikes, throws and locks from that type of fighting, have faces under our feet, foot pin, trampling, etc. Yet the wrestlers are stronger using their power moves and devilish holds and hair pulling, bumping our heads into the turbuckles, and slamming us around. We fail some team move and that turns our side into jobbers for the rest of the match. In pure fantasy ending in piledriver to both members in parallel and then pinned, a bit more real struggling in camel clutch, Boston Crab, and such holds for submission or one released for a finisher and pin. Wrestlers pose on us as we are down.
Side note: in pure fantasy I would love to see 10 vs 10 and all barefoot fighters piledriven synchronously to their spread-eagled KO position. Same with all sleepers in parallel or alike depending on the finisher of the opponents. I love to see a team finished off like that.

Since I did not mentioned the more realistic singles case: fight barefoot using a more martial arts oriented style, start with give and take, yet losing in the end ending as jobber in the later parts of the match. Would love to feel a body or face under my feet at some time, get some unfair treatment like hair pulling or cheapshots, being trapped in holds and be able to sell to some nice moves and the domination in the end. A heel role against a face that wins in the end is also nice or me taking the heel wrestler role against a martial arts face.
